A Gathering Place. Where time stands still.

St Fort Farm sits on the R711, 6km from Clarens, in the shadow of the Mushroom Rock —one of the Eastern Free State's most iconic sandstone landmarks. The homestead was built in 1913 by Hugo Walker, and the Goldblatt family have lived here since 1964. Peter and Lizl Gernetzky (née Goldblatt), with their daughters Robyn and Ashley, welcome guests into three en-suite, self-catering units set around the original 1913 sandstone homestead. The well-established Mount Perazim Trail runs through the farm. Experience real farm life, real family warmth, and views that make it impossible to rush.

The place is amazing especially for weddings. The views you get of the mountains from here is breathtaking. Anyone who is going to Clarens must definitely pass through here.
